Drawing tuba

Today was the due to submit 6 art works in drawing class. I worked on 3 of them in class, and needed to do others during spring break. However, I hadn't done one of them yet....I couldn't finish drawing a tuba in class a couple weeks ago. I emailed my professor last Monday, but he never replied me:((( Finally, he emailed me back THIS MORNING, and I could continue after the class...well...I needed to start it over since the tuba was decorated and looked totally different.

I hate this tuba. It is very old and rusty. Some parts are dented, so it is just difficult to draw. Until I drew this tuba, I didn't feel any difficulty in the class even though I am not in art major. I really didn't wanna draw this, and I noticed that I cannot be an artist because I don't wanna draw stuff I am not interested in. Well, I am not gonna be an artist anyway...

But, tonight I think I did great job on this! I used charcoals which I didn't usually use, and focused on drawing specific part. It took almost 3 hours, I really loved drawing the tuba this time! I was gonna take a picture of that, but some students were in the room, so I couldn't. Oh, I believe it was so much better than last one!!!:D

In class, I saw many many great works by classmates. I realized that each student has different drawing style. It was interesting to give critique each other too. I'm kinda scared next Monday because my classmates see my works and give me critique...I should be fine, hopefully.
